After today's earnings it will get worse
Lowe's recycles the same plan over and over again - it is just a different executive team rolling it out. Why do you think he gave 4 day work week to full timers - because there are hardly ANY in the stores.
Atleast Walmart is cutting the corporate layers of staff instead of their store teams. For Lowe's - it will be the same play, just called something else and the store level staff and the customers will be the ones to suffer.
This is old being recycled.. Many years ago 10 or 12 years ago that's was Lowes plan then .90% part time. The old timers has seen all of this before.
When will this happen
The only FT positions left are going to be department supervisors, the rest are being eliminated and replaced with PT including specialists. Makes no sense, but they don't know what they are doing.
