There is more and more mediocrity here. When I first came to this company, I was able to learn from some of the best experts in their field. Intel is much different now. How many of those experts are still here, versus mediocrity with inflated egos?

OP: have you become an expert so a new person can learn something from you?
The work isn't interesting enough to attract top talent.
If you are unhappy leave. It’s simple, you control your own destiny.
As always the older folks retire and the young ones move internally or to other companies. This is nothing new. Intel has excellent depth of talent. It just so happens its jump on Intel by everyone. I would venture most of the folks on this forum were either let go or fired and have an axe to grind. Been in the Semi Industry 38 years. They will come out of this.
