I don't know anyone who didn't find a much better job after their experience here. That's why I believe that layoffs for many will be stressful in the short-term but things will work out better for them long-term. The company is in survival mode and that's why I wouldn't be surprised if it will be the hardest for those who stay here - even harder than those who are now going through the stress due to cuts... They will get a new opportunity, while the survivors will be stuck in this miserable place for a while longer, more overwhelmed than ever.
