no, things do not have to be like this @wlf - i've laid off people before and things can be done with much more respect. many people that were walked out spent 10+ years with us, they are not criminals. this creates fear, anxiety and bitter taste. people who witnessed the walk of shame will never again love 711, they will never be 100% dedicated and engaged. They saw betrayal and greed.

That's sort of the way these things work. It's just business. It doesn't always grow in the same directions. And sometimes it contracts. Job market is hot! Go get your new one.
