People who've been here for years and put up with all kinds of sh-t and abuse but stayed for whatever reasons (usually out of their control) are saying this is the last straw and are leaving. Even if it means not having a job for a while. Imagine how bad something has to be to force people into a decision like that.

What happened to "It's a Wonderful Life"? Where IS George Bailey? IS Bedford Falls now
Pottersville? IS "ISM" a portal to an alternative retail universe?
Support people aren't doing anything different PLEASE!! I don't know about anyone else but my whole schedule and life has been turned upside down. Cr---y schedules. I am a longtime employee who has gotten screwed over by this company more times that I count. Being told what to do my by some snotty little kid they hired a few months ago and treated like garbage. So SPARE me I would love it if my job would go back to the way it was. Im now working horrible schedules and the earliest I get home most of the time is 7 or 730. I had very little social life anyway so now I have none. Thanks Macys and all the lazy people who got us all into this mess!!
The post about how ISM isn’t a big deal is also true at my store. It seems like they don’t want to deal with training and the questions that could come from associates when they’re doing something different. It’s easier to let everybody do what they normally do.
The magic of Macy's!
Turnover is a huge problem for the company right now because of ISM. Hiring is really tough too and these jobs are not being explained correctly at the time of the interview/onboarding. People are so confused, so therefore many stores aren’t doing ISM. Also, nobody wants to train anyone. They better start because it isn’t going away. The architects behind this awful idea really believe in it and have the support of powerful people within the organization.
Can you shut up, we get it you're special.
Ah yes. The real goal exposed. Unload anyone with dedication, experience and an opinion.
ISM isn’t a big deal at my store because we’re really not doing it. Salespeople are not doing anything different and support associates are not doing anything different.
