Thread regarding Invitae Corp. layoffs

if they don't get rid of Karthik S.

and his hires and promotions, this is really all for nothing. This group includes the most incompetent and immature staff I have ever encountered.

He also placed his cronies in various leadership positions where they have no business being in charge.

I agree with the poster that the folks who thought this guy was competent should be let go.

He was a terrible leader. Nothing but platitudes in his all hands.

Anyone who signed off of his hiring or thought he was competent and not a total phony sl------l should also be let go.

Can't agree more as a former employee. This guy knows nothing about the biotech and is really mediocre as a product leader. As a CPO he should resolve the company's long-lasting "focus on too many things" problem rather than creating more issues. Maybe the massive layoff could be avoided if the c-level planned better.

Should have gotten rid of middle management types too, regardless of tenure

Finally the truth is out, everyone knows this to be true inside the company.
