Bloomberg News query about 7/11 layoffs

Hello, my name's Allison Smith, and I'm a reporter with Bloomberg News. I'm sorry to hear about the recent layoffs at 7-11, and I'm looking into this matter for a story. If you're a current or recently laid off employee, please feel free to get in touch with me at asmith1281@bloomberg.net. I'm happy to provide anonymity since this is a sensitive topic. Thank you for your time.

Would love to, but even though they tout that they do not tolerate "retaliation", they do. All depends on who you are and who you know.

What reporters should be investigating is the MAFIA accounting practices of 711
They should be investigated by the FTC

You may want to ask them why they do not file WARN notices even though they are laying off a ton of people, thousands,

Never been to a 7-11 in my life, they seem to be located in sketchy neighborhoods with a sketchy clientele..no thanks...

Rest assured, the counts from CNBC and other outlets at 880/800 are severely undercounted. Marketing had nearly 100 by itself. Does not include all the IT/Finance cuts to make room for positions in Bangalore. The field had hundreds of cuts. Speedway HQ in Enon was gutted. Construction, merchandising, operations, operations support, recruiting, legal, real estate, and more — it was a blood bath.
