Is it me or did this site getting boring all of sudden? It’s almost like we are giving up all together. Two camps of people either thinking the company is going to be stripped to the bones or others that think we won’t lose a person.
I miss ex Broadcom Guy and Fictional Hock. Now it is just a giant sleeper of a message board.

It's because all of us have come to the realization that we're all screwed. This isn't a good situation. There's not one damned thing good about it. Tens of thousands of us are going to lose our jobs because a couple of mega billionaires wanted to make even more billions. And even if somehow miraculously a few of us don't lose our jobs, the company that's buying us sounds like a truly awful place to work. So? There's nothing to see here. There's only what you can do to affect your future. It's your choice. You can stay here and then eventually lose your job and find another job afterwards. Or, you can start looking now if you haven't been already and find a new job and move on. That's been the case since day one.
Broadcon guy is a liar and just fanning the flames for enjoyment. Funny you miss having your strings pulled like a puppet though.

The reason you are bored is because there is nothing new to report other than the sh-t storm to come and no other hope for biz as usual. Welcome to another phase in grief.
What were you expecting? I personally can’t thing of a single colleague who think we won’t lose a person and given the MO of Broadcom you wouldn’t have to be completely stupid to a level that is hard to fathom to think nothing going to change. Change is inevitable and the only constant, get used to it with your job and more generally in your approach to life.
