The management simply doesn't walk their talk. Are you sick of their empty promises? Why these constant promises that it will get better when we all know that the chance of that happening is minimal?

Thanks for the concern. There will be town halls with different parts of the team depending where you work geographically. He mentioned he would ask a few other people that are on PTO that week If they can attend including one of our Leads, who already said he will not attend. From everything I’ve heard the team I am on is pretty safe but I’ve been around too long to have that false confidence. I have no control if they decide to RIF.
When RIFed back in Nov 2020 had a meeting before noon named quarterly review with my manager (director) and some vp (the then vp was out on medical leave).
Was told the good news and told to turn off the laptop after the meeting ended.
Very enjoyable experience.
That being said it was the best thing that ever happened. Thank God. A blessing in disguise as was too afraid to quit.
Umm, for the dude talking about coming in on their PTO for a town hall with their two supervisors, that sounds fishy. They did that a few years ago and RIF’d people. Good luck
My TM actually had the nerve to ask me if I could come in on my PTO week for one day for a Town Hall Meeting with his 2 supervisors. Definitely the last thing I want to do not my problem as I had this approved in the beginning of the year. Doesn’t Management understand that during summer especially some people will be off on a certain week regardless of your meeting. I hear complaints about OT all the time and cutting back but of course not for a meeting like this. Is it that important?
A lot of talk it’s funny I mentioned this in a different post. Not a lot of action I don’t think my Management knows what to do except try to please the customer and heck with us.
Yea it sad, it is a slow but self initiated implosion. As the upper management rake in their last drops
