Thread regarding Save Mart Supermarkets layoffs

Well, it finally happened. Save mart got sold. Got sold to an equity company. Although I left 6 yrs ago, I saw Save mart was going downhill so I jumped ship. Some thought I was a fool and didn’t know what I was talking about and it will get better. Well 2019, there were mass layoffs at corporate. March 2022, the company gets sold, retirement benefits get cut for retirees, the CEO leaves, and now they are cutting district managers down. Oh and the robot program got cancelled also. What’s next? Leadership is probably saying alls well as they update their LinkedIns. Best advice, get out while you can or else, Your life your town, your store, you’re screwed..
