We have a good ole boy problem
I went to this site about 6 months ago after hearing others talk about it. There is a lot of good information on here, some disgruntled folks as well, but a wealth of information which I am thankful for.
The Midwest is a dumpster fire created by the has beens from good ole bloated Sears. Who put them in charge of the Midwest? I guarantee you the same Sears good ole club that has had accusations of mistreatment of associates had those same legal issues at Sears. HR hides as they are scared to lose their jobs so they wont speak out against the good ole boy club. How many AR claims can be ignored or discarded? HR is scared to lose their jobs or be moved to another area as a punishment so they will never ever play fair. This is a legal nightmare brewing! I don't like lawyers, but I bet highly they are already circling in some areas.

I cannot understand why Marvin would let this happen. Disappointed in his leadership. There is no way he doesn't know how bad it is in Midwest.
there are many of us who have multiple service badges, sales achievement award plaques yada, yada yada. All that means is that we try to be professional and do our jobs with dignity......it does not necessarily mean we view this company with high regard
I showed a coworker this site. He said its nothing but angry ex employees venting on here. I asked him "so you're happy working here?"
He said he is. He also wears about a dozen service badges. Nuff said.
This is a good source of information about what stunts corporate will pull.
I'm here to observe how employees try and rationalize the lowes matrix. You can't..and eventually you have to leave. Found this forum after one year of abuse and left soon after.

I have been following this since it was called something else. There is usually more information here in the rumors (about layoffs, department changes, restructuring, etc.) than I ever got from management. I was planning to become an LNS but didn’t due to “rumors” and within a year that position was eliminated.
I come to see how things have deteriorated since I started.
I have had a better job for a while now. It come here for the same reason I browse dating sites, I love to see the trainwrecks
