I could understand four weeks per year, but somebody said it's four weeks total? If true, that is unbelievably low and especially unfair towards people who've been here for a while as opposed to those who just joined in the last couple of years with the big hiring push.

We got 12 weeks. 60 days no working notice and 4 week severance. Not bad but keeping my job would be better. At least with notice I have benefits for extra time.
"current offer is 2 months with full salary and benefits, then 4 weeks severance pay after that". Some received 2 months wages, no benefits, plus one month severance. Health Insurance stops 7/31.
Hi all! So sorry you are going through this. I work for Pillar Biosciences, which has openings and is growing. Do you know if they offered outplacement to employees so we can maybe help some of those laid-off? Thank you for any info you have.
I was let got last year after just 6m, I got 6w
Pathetic that you act petty over a few 1000 severance bucks. There is more to life than a few thousand bucks - grow up! My experience has been that Invitae is loaded with arrogant fools. Your attitude explains it.
I know of someone who was fired (yes fired) from Invitae several months back and was given 4 months of pay when they left. This is a slap in the face if you are only being offered 4 weeks of severance for the hard work you all have put into that company.

I was let go in 2022 and we got three months at that time. I think that people who got let go in 2018 got even more.
Now they are cutting more people so I am assuming they will offer less.
Not really sure, maybe someone who was laid off can share it in this thread.
