I see many people leaving right now even if they don't know if they'll be affected when cuts start. The thing is, no matter where you go, you won't have your job guaranteed, especially if you're new. Just create your own job security and stay where you are. That means being prepared and being ready to work anywhere. By that I mean in any industry - not getting stuck in the same one when there is so much more available. Get your resume updated, keep networking, start applying and going to interviews to keep up your interviewing skills, and if/when the time comes, you'll have enough offers lined up. Or you'll have an easy way to get offers. Just don't make any rash decisions when we have no idea what's going to happen in the future.

Absolutely clueless drivel. You can't collect offers like an insurance policy and keep them for weeks they will expire. Get real.
