How come everybody in the media is talking about the restructuring and the changes on the top but nobody is mentioning layoffs? If they are, I can't find it (other than hidden in wording like "cost cuts" and " exiting non-core businesses" and whatnot). I think so many people losing their livelihoods beats SG no longer being CEO. That's just me, though.

But reports are now mentioning it but I also think that the reports saying 'more than 1200' don't really emphasize what a huge proportion of the Invitae work force that represents!
You're an id--t. This is from Invitae press releases. It's not the "mass media" spinning it.
Are you actually expecting honesty from the mass media?
