Dan was a fantastic CEO. I was nervous when he was first brought in but he has taught everyone at TIBCO a lot and has always supported his employees that are working hard. He help build an incredible culture. Why do you think this message board is normally pretty quiet?
Unfortunately, it's just a numbers game to Vista. If they could replace every employee with a robot and still make money, they'd do it.
The new guy's job is to make Vista as profitable as possible, which means cutting as many costs as possible while still retaining the customer revenue stream. That's what he's always done. He's a financial guy, that's it, and he will make a lot of money, personally, once all is said and done.
Dan Streetman has been a good ceo for tibco. I feel bad he's leaving and just hope his good work is not undone.
What's the thoughts on this new guy??
