Thread regarding Cummins Inc. layoffs

“It’s okay” campaign. Is it really okay?

If you have to have constant emails about assistance and resources for depression, substance abuse, stress, and whatever else, is it really okay? I know these are real issues but work environment should not be leading you to it. Is this heavily emphasized at other employers?

It's a scam.
Bullying directors get away without their behaviors, on condition they provide personal services to their superiors.

Fu-k no. They are too scared of another incident so they will flip desks to send you out the door.

But then is it really genuine? Is it really the pandemic or new issues? I mean duh, not arguing that the services should not be there, I’ve used EAP. But why the constant emails and stories on top of the material send in mail? Seems to have eased up but seemed like a bit much.

Yes, it’s common. Wellness is a hot topic in the Fortune 500 post pandemic. That Cummins is communicating this allows for several things : 1) maximize ROI on wellness, EAP and other benefits. 2) demonstration that they care and 3) happier, healthier employees.
