Fortunately, I managed to find a new job in a very short time. At the moment the situation is terrible here, but it used to be not bad at all. If you could sum up your impressions during your time here, what would you say?

I enjoyed our private offices at Citywest. I could phart as long and loud as I wanted and stink up the office without getting referred to HR.
I mostly enjoyed my nearly 10 years there. It felt like we were doing good things, but after awhile it seemed like we had many failures, no new successes, and legacy products were keeping things afloat. We began to wander, committing to Ocean Bottom, then non-seismic markets….it’s like we didn’t know what we wanted to really accomplish. After awhile, it was hard to explain what ION even did.
Impressions …. Good while it lasted, last few years however have been an absolute embarrassing mess caused by complete incompetence at the executive, VP level, and laying off everyone who actually does the work. Personally I’ve just been hanging on while they payed me, 2 interviews next week non seismic, ain’t no way I’m going to work at tgs probably won’t be selected anyway, good bye and good riddance ion
