Seems like more and more employees are experiencing COVID symptoms and yet Gretchen and their "caring" staff have not said a word about the issue. How can they say their primary care is the safety of their employees but say nothing and do nothing. But of course get back to the office, attend staff meetings in person and go eat your ice cream. Nuts. Where's OSHA, where are the calls to the Ethical Hotline, where is compliance with the HSSE & SP Manual? Shocking but I guess not really.

Shell is treating COVID like any other sickness i.e. if you have no symptoms, come into the office regardless of a positive test result (you can test positive for MONTHS, after all)
Rightly so. Anyone who stays home to "quarantine" because they were "exposed" to someone with a positive COVID test but that does not have symptoms himself/herself is just milking it now.
Oh, you thought Shell cares about its employees? lolololololol
It’s an example of coming full circle.
There was a time when, if you weren’t hospitalized, you were expected to come into the office, sneezing and hacking through meetings, on the elevator, etc.
A “loyal employee” wouldn’t do any less. If you called in sick, your supervisor would look askance and you’d be deemed somehow “less dedicated”.
Post Covid, it looks like we’re back where we were. “Com’on, it’s just the sniffles, you malingerer.”
We had a case within our team and when asking my team lead what to do as far as quarantining at home, we were just told to call Shell health. Seems like Shell is over it too.
Why not just quit and find another job?
You just want to slack off at home don't you ?
Yeah. It's mutated to be more infectious but less severe, like most viruses do to stop from ki----g their hosts.
Remember when you could get sick, and not be treated like a leper or typhoid Mary? I remember
