Really excited aboit the newness of the TOYS R US shops!!! The fixtutes, signage, painted walls and even the "Geoffry on a bench" photo op!!! ...but I'm sure by the third day, Geofftey's head will be missing or the bench be broken in half!!! LOL

Well, yes of course Geoffrey will be headless and then bench broken in half, not to mention every toy will be in the floor. That's the Macy's customer! Why expect anything else?
The toy dept in my store takes up too much room in our Kids area. All the clothes etc...are smashed together making it harder to merchandise and harder for customers to shop. In a small store it is just ridiculous. Now they want to send fixtures don't know how big they are im sure they'll take up even more room ugh!!!
Another giant mess to clean up on a daily basis.
In my store, the Toys R Us shop is 2 small walls of shelves and 3 tiered tables of toys.
a bankrupt store opens in a soon to be bankrupt stores.. makes sense. like the ceo.
but my guess is they are trying to recruit this future of customer to work for this horrible company and meanwhile fire all the older companies.. but like the ceo said in his recent LinkedIn post.. be your self.. like be that person they want to fire.
Meh!! Hate to sound negative but this will bring in a very small amount of revenue. Kids will be excited of course but Macys needs much more to increase the customer experience.
