Tsys/gpn has cut 400 people from issuing. Manger told me there walking on eggshells, rumors floating around it will close. Can’t believe it

theres been rumors of GP trying to sell the issuing side of TSYS for a while. Just like when patty prepped us to sell off to GP. They are trimming Issuing to make it look tangible for prospective buyers. GP just wanted the merchant business, they could care less about the issuing side.
What about issuing? They reported revenue growth in second quarter. How they can close or sell it off?
It's not just issuing. I was in software division of Heartland branch.
