Is it bogus? It certainly highlights an issue that people either working there or thinking about working there should consider. Having a toxic workplace with toxic unethical people in charge makes for a bad time.

I don’t know the answer, but looking at it logically, either that person is in an inappropriate relationship with a superior, has information that makes them dangerous to let go, or has certain digital photos that are incriminating. Either way, that’s a sad state of affairs when someone has power and abuses it.
