Started 6 years ago with niblock and like a frog thrown into a pot and the simmer starting to rise I never realized how Terrible this company had become. I recently started a new job essentially doing the same thing and I make 6 bucks more per hour, do half the work, treated with more respect and I don't get screamed at by customers for situations outside of my control. The grass does happen to greener outside of lowes and if you aren't being treated fairly then vote with your feet and skill and leave this god forsaken place.

I'm a Tillman-Stone Era dinosaur. I stay because I'm semi-retired and work part time, just 3 or 4 days a week to get out of the house. Also, local management has always treated me well.
“Frog in a pot” is the best analogy EVER and so true that it isn’t until you leave that you realize how hot the water had become. Finding another job with higher pay is also a familiar story! I jumped out of the pot and life is so much cooler now.
