Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Economic downturn

I'm trying to find a way to exit. If the economy falls into a recession, I wonder how it will affect TD. I think things will start to look a lot uglier. Some of my colleagues, however, think that there is no reason to be so overly concerned. Thoughts?

Much safer to stay. Moving to any company that is burning cash, forever making a loss is not going to end well when it gets ugly. All those start ups begin to not look so glossy after all

Teradata usually does better when times are tight because people stop wasting money on expensive experiments to replace.
