This entire scene is a sh!t show. It is time to go my friends. I’m giving myself 4 -6 weeks to exit.
Just remember to always look forward, and just remember you will expect to believe and anticipate that the estimate should intend to plan for potential things which we will predict, project, and aim for in the future.

If you think VMW cared about or tried to find another buyer you are dreaming. The execs and board were content with the AVGO offering and are now just going through the marching orders so they can get their $$$
To be fair, VMWare hasn’t thought about it’s customers for years. Ever been on the other end of a tech support call with them? That is a good indicator…
The execs couldn't find anyone else to buy VMware, because Q1 was so bad, no one felt the company was worth spending $61B on. They must have begged, pleaded to save VMware from the upcoming misery with Broadcom, but none of the other potential suitors, maybe Intel, Nvidia, Amazon, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, or anyone else, bid on the plea.
