Thread regarding 3M layoffs

who cares??????????

3M really doesn't want to control attrition anymore. Senior leadership literally doesn't care. They are counting on the attrition to do a 'quiet' layoff.

Of course this means the best of us will go off and do something else. Oh well...

My bet is that the stick sees double digits by the end of this year if not sooner. And eps and revenue should start tumbling soon too.

have done a lot of number crunching and with the PFA's and Ear Plug claims both being separated from main share dealings, the share price will drop a little bit, it will hold on until end of Q3 in my reckoning, the worse it will be reduced to will be 140. The ear plugs claims will be strongly fought as the Govt are linked in and some of the claimants cases are being thrown out

Ongoing Lawsuits with veterans and PFAS both national and international will be the end of this company. Don’t worry too much about attrition.

Next stop 125 and maybe not strong support even there. Yes BE plant re-open will provide some momentum until the next adverse judgment. Maybe good to get out now and salvage some life savings?

Yes, both micro ( internal morale, enthusiasm, attrition, layoffs, constant structural changes, zero faith in management etc) and macro ( litigation, stock price, bad news about 3M everywhere ) environment look abysmal !

One wonders if it past the point where things will ever get better or is past the singularity point and being sucked into a black ho-e with zero hope left.
