Who else is waiting for tibco to take over to see if a severance package is coming?
Do we have a date for the yet?
Any thoughts of what offices may be closed if jobs are outsourced?

550k in sign on bonuses? What the fk ever!!!!

You are forgetting opportunity cost. By waiting for a severance, which you don’t know what it will be, if much at all, you are foregoing the hiring bo-m market that is now softening quite fast. Most big tech companies are slowing or freezing hiring.
I feel I left at the tail end and was lucky to score $550k in signon bonus (over 2 years). No severance would have come close to that.
So make sure you are carefully looking at the tech economy so you are not left high and dry when TIBCO begins layoffs
Have you been introduced to your counterparts in Tibco yet? Perhaps to share ideas of working together, look for synergies, shadow each roles, learn and improve the processes? The one that picks up the quickest and don’t complain too much (I.e., is flexible) and preferably in a low wage location will get the job (hopefully with a pay increase).
Santa Clara will be gone very soon - the end is near.
I’m easy actually, happy to stay if wanted but I’d also be happy to walk away with severance.
Not leaving for free, though.
