I wonder how many of the people who leave Shell go to other companies in the industry, and how many of them actually leave O&G industry altogether. What do you think?

80-20 is based on actual headcount in my department since I've been here.

Regarding the 80-20% assertion - I highly doubt 80% who leave are remaining in the industry. Maybe that was the case a decade ago but people are waking up to the fact that O&G is being leapfrogged by tech and other more stable and higher-paying sectors.
Does Shell condone employees collecting referral fees for a recruit, and then splitting them with a non employee who actually made the referral? Just wondering. Don't know anyone doing that. Or being asked to do that.
80% to competitors, 20% to others. The 80% were sullied by working for big oil and couldn't get out. The 20% were DEI promotees who played the race card here and then moved further up the ranks elsewhere.
