Instead of becoming a place where employees will stay longer, Macy's is becoming a place where almost no one wants to work anymore and where everyone is less happy. I personally don’t want to do everything in the store every day and I intend to quit. I don’t think anyone likes this new Macy’s anymore, i.e. changes that are happening?

If you aren’t being paid more than $20 right now during this historic inflation then I suggest demanding more money or finding employment elsewhere. You don’t need a college education or experience just go look for something. We are approaching stagflation, a very hard time for all of us normal people, 2 or more years of $7 a gallon gas and severe food shortages. Companies don’t just give you more money, you have to ask for it.
Agree senior management needs to look at who that have managing their stores. What the previous poster said about store 008 is also true of store 621. Most store associates are bewildered as to how he keeps his job.
Store manager in 008 can only read the company line. She has no clue what is going on under her nose. She will drive out the employees that are left that care and keep her friends to do her bidding. Company needs to look at who is running their buildings and not who is working in them. I just left before she could fire me for caring.
Maybe if they paid better wages employees would care.
So many open jobs and unfilled shifts. Stores that look so bad that investors and customers keep sending pictures to Jeff complaining about what they see. Want to have some fun, take a picture of the mess that is your store and send it to Jeff from an anonymous email account and watch the fun begin.
It's June and it's so bad that the company had to offer surge pay for the weekends and has calls weekly t talk about how bad stores look, go backs for days, and our plummeting customer survey scores.

40% of the people in my store have quit already and more are resigning everyday. It is safe to say that JG and his top lieutenants are destroying this once great company.
