Literally no one follows the system.
I see this only being harped on right before inventories. That's it. Other than that, it's business as usual.

SIMS was always going to be dependent on execution. If nobody’s doing it then it’s basically useless.
But what do they expect!? The stores have barely enough people to open the doors every day! Do they really believe we have the added time to do SIMS? If the idi0ts in the corporate offices want this done then they’re going to have to staff the store appropriately, otherwise it’s never gonna happen. Just ignore it or pencil whip it. Until they take staffing seriously you shouldn’t take SIMS seriously either.
When you look up SIMS in the dictionary it shows a picture of a cat chasing it's tail.
Have a lowes safe day y'all!
SIMS sounds good on paper. Scan a bunch of barcodes put something away or take it down while other people are waiting is too time consuming.
Didn't you know? SIMS actually stands for "SERIOUSLY ID--TIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM". Most people just don't refer to it in full : )
Lowes is an absolute failure
