There's discussion about the company might open on November 24th. Yes folks! Macy's might go back to the way we always do things opening on Thanksgiving day. We'll see what happens. 🦃 😟

Unfortunately that’s what happens when Macys got rid of experienced managers because they made to much $$$$
Not only did they add value to the company and it ran well instead no one cares.
Such a shame what is happening to Macys.

My store doesn’t seem to be concerned about it. There is always a carefree almost lazy approach towards everything. Whatever gets done by whoever is good enough.

This isn’t fair. We never even got trained because of staffing issues. I see my schedule though and I have no idea what the zones are.

Comrade Colleagues,

Macy's is like Russian Army!

  1. Top down structure? Check! (Daily phone calls)
  2. Supply chain problems? Check! (Rods Rods Rods)
  3. Outdated equipment? Check! (Does that register with anyone?)
  4. Outdated communication equipment? Check! (ET Phone home?)
  5. Morale problems? Check! (This site)
  6. Weakness in lower level command structure? Check! (Loss of Experienced Personnel)
  7. Manpower shortages? Check! ("Does anyone work here?")
  8. Bottom's up feedback? Nyet! (Survey - Always check Yes)
  9. "We try new stuff and then go back to the way we always do things"? Check!
  10. Coordinated operations? TBD (ISM)
