I am very sorry for all those affected. Is it true that the targets were mostly long-term employees as someone mentioned?

To the person in the first reply who wrote "Long term older employees, and very new employees. For nursing.", that's not the case with my dept and the other branches. They've laidoff people with 1 yr, 4 yrs, 7 yrs, 10 yrs, 15 yrs, 25 yrs, and all different ages from 20 all the way to 74 yrs old. So there is no rhyme or reason, no metrics, no rules.

To be honest from our department (billing). There is no pattern . People with longevity and short term alike. Even the few people they kept makes no sense
