Chang in Control contracts for VP level and above are not uncommon. It sucks only as we look up and see that A: not only do they get huge restricted stock grants, but unlike the employees, they will get acceleration. In some cases ALL of it. In Some 1 year's worth or more.
That is their motivation to not put this on the skids even though they know onces its done a lot of them are gone. No one VP or above is walking away with less than a million. and the SVPs, GMs, etc we are talking multiples of that. 10s of millions.
