The more I read the news about the possible recession ahead of us, the more I worry about how it will affect the cuts.

You can plan for upwards of 60-70% cuts of VMW folks no matter the state of the economy. This is standard MO for AVGO as they start to reduce costs and increase profitability of their acquired companies

As for AVGO gnerally, Hok requires $1 million per employee, so if revenue falls for your business unit then this will result in cuts,

So, it won't be the driver for cuts to VMW as a result of the takeover. AVGO, will cut at least 2/3 of the workforce.
