Coram knew they messed up when they switched the epic they just don’t want to admit they were wrong and that’s why the tow hall was canceled, they don’t want the back lash. Smh

Cvs town hall was just canceled so CVS employees can take a walk or meditate, and they'll have the next town hall at the end if the summer (when all us disgruntled lay-offs are out if the picture.) How inappropriate. I am disgusted with CVS

I'm one of the remaining employees. We were told 50% of branches were closing. It's more like 75%. The work force is seemingly being cut by around the same, maybe a little less. There is little faith things will work out. This is likely to gear up for a sale. All of us are sick to our stomachs over this. I work with a great team. None of them deserve this.

amazing that there is more info on this user site than we are getting from HR, Communications, Upper Level Bosses. They are all in hiding and not helping. Color them Yellow

I work for the Phienix location and told us we had till De 11. I think management have to be blame because they would want us to write things off like crazy and didn't even bother collecting money . Front end wouldn't get their things together w auth, orders or others things coram lost a lot of money but yet would tl us we are doing great!!!!smh

Yes, @1sok is so correct. They overhire and then fire people. This keeps repeating and is so predictable. It's sick.

Curious what the ages are the people who were laid off yesterday. So far everyone I know of have been over age 60 . Wondering if there's a pattern here

It's exhausting. Every time we turn around there's layoffs, then they hire , then they layoff. A sure sign of incompetent leadership at the top. They just fired everyone 18 months ago, then made people reapply for their jobs, now those same people are being laid off again. It's mentally abusive

This company chews through people and managers. Bullying intimidation is promoted for managers.

The entire Atlantic region, other Boston are, were wiped out. And it estimated that 50% of entire workforce was “impacted,” to quote their tack word.

They've apparently done this before. Lay people off, and then hire people back. Almost like it's a game. I should've left months ago when I started reading all of the negative posts on indeed and glass door about this company.

The email from Karen Lynch was a direct slap in the face for everyone who got terminated yesterday. And agree with the person who commented about working for Coram prior to CVS buying them. It was a million times better before CVS. CVS has done nothing but run it into the ground. I do not expect Coram to exist within two years. The only thing Coram could do that CVS couldn't was antibiotics and TPN, but now that those therapies are gone, CVS specialty can dispense all specialty dr-gs. Coram serves no purpose. The ones left behind, should get out now.

Today they tell us our #1 priority is to keep working to fill orders to keep up with our client’s needs and we are understaffed as is. #2 priority (in our spare time) is to find a job. Unbelievable (and what “spare” time?)

Gosh, I just left my very decent outside job a few weeks ago to join Coram/CVS. If upper level management knew 6 months ago, it is really very poor management that they allowed me to be hired! Truly they should have stalled my hiring until this announcement. What credible company does this?

Having used to work for Coram prior to CVS acquisition I can whole heartedly say CVS was the worst thing that EVER happened to the organization. CVS is the devil and has their hands in so many arenas. They are the largest healthcare employer in the United States.
They are one of the largest retail pharmacies in the US
They are also a specialty pharmacy
They are a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM)
They have their own MED D plan (silvers scripts)
They now own Aetna
They bought all of the Target pharmacies (now branded as CVS pharmacy)
They bought OmniCare who supplies meds to a vast majority of the skilled facilities in the US
They bought one of the largest home infusion companies, Coram, in the country and now are tearing it apart…….
And they most likely still have the government contract to be the preferred provider for pharmacy needs…..

I feel for all of the dedicated employees who are being chucked to the side of the road so the execs can make more money by “streamlining” things. Which really means sh---y service and customers won’t have a choice because they will be contracted as the “preferred” provider and consumers won’t have any other choice!
We as consumers need to be more informed and be our very own advocates! #wakeup

Hard to say infusion line was losing money, when you see nothing but profits being posted.
The email from the end of the day, was a complete and total “slap in the face.” She actually said this is to move towards our future goals - which until 8 hours before, included lots more people.
Not to mention the “our patients will always remain our top priority,” how’s that when I’m 60 days they will no longer have services?????

No open communication. Directors knew for 6 months and didn’t tell team members. These people had 6 months to try and find a job before the announcement was made today. Who leads like that! And the lies that were told… unbelievable. Total lack of professionalism.

12/11 for me to, this is my second job elimination at CVS. Not enough open positions to rehome everyone.

Bloodsuckers indeed. Karma is coming. It always does. I expect Coram to no longer exist in the next two years. Incompetent BV team, lazy sales team, incompetent leadership at the top. They were destined to fail.

California, New York, Arkansas, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, 37 branches in all , 300 nurses, then they send an email that we are people focused and care deeply about our employees. There's an 800 number the fallen can call for emotional support. There's probably a charge for the call.

I heard their infusion line was losing money, so they’re getting rid out of their tpn and and hydration services. No more reps in hospitals. All will be done from their headquarters via phone.

Across the entire company and country, actually. They’re claiming it’s to focus more on specialty dr-g infusions, rather than the acute, or short term therapies. Blah blah blaj
