SORRY, BUT WHERE WERE THEY WHEN WE WERE LAYED OFF?
Well This Is My last Week As A Coram Employee...Mixed Emotions 😵💫
Main Issue Is Why Are They Waiting So Long To Issue Severance Info?? Driving Me Bonkers 🤦🏾♀️
Any Other Aug 26ers Out There 👀
They fired you. they're calling it a layoff but it's really just a mass firing. They cherry picked who stayed and who left based off a lot of personal relationships and brown nosing. They're NOT going to retain you. They don't want you. they have been very clear on that. why would anyone think any different? Move on. It's not an indicator of how well you performed, how loyal you were, how above and beyond you went for them, it's about who they wanted to keep and who they wanted to leave. Nothing more. It was very personal and not remotely related to professional performance or value.
Also if you get your 3o day notice on Kay off you can get your 401 k on last day
They can't answer our questions nor provide more resources to help the displaced laid off employees but they can spend over 1 MILLION dollars on a private John Legend concert. On top of that treat all the executives to a Disney vacation during the last executive town hall/ executive vacation. I'm so GLAD I found another job outside of this company.
so it would seem that everyone is experiencing the same thing. We are here to support you and help you job placement only to submit to 20+ roles that you 90-99% qualified for only to be rejected even if a recruiter reaches out. it provides a false sense of hope especially to those who are sole providers. Honestly update your linked in or get on linked in and apply to jobs even if you only meet 80% someone will appreciate your skills and knowledge. endlessly applying internally will get you no where at this point. I think that those whom were impacted they have no desire to hire us back especially if they only had a budget to hire only a x% of people. Coram/CvS have probably allocated that money to other places while also hoping that they dont have to pay out as much severance as well.

To the person who wrote: "Rumor is recruiters are going to call us to offer positions, if you don't accept it your severance is gone. .". CVS Health and Coram don't have recruiters calling anyone with jobs. Coram offers job placement assistance with from the company "Lee Hecht Harrison", and that's in everyone's severance pkg. LHH provides assistance with resumes, interviews, a job site link, but you do the work. None of us are getting "agents" who will get us jobs. They give you tools, and you're on your own.
Edit: my last pay increase was a few months ago, not mins ago
(for my post, directly below)
More than 20 years with Coram. Took minimum sick days, and days off. Clean employee file. Got pay increases every year. Was told a million times we'd never lose our jobs. My last pay increase was a few mins ago, with excellent yearly review. Applied for multiple CVS Health jobs; turned down for all within a few hrs of applying. There's no rhyme or reason, no formula. Heard from 3 people still there, that they were just laid off. Time to wakeup if you're still there. You're next.
Very said company you let go thousands of people and you still promote VP and as so....I have applied for many jobs that i am qualified for then receiving email not going further with you application.
So did you know that you can sell you stock that you bought through the employee stock purchase plan on the date of your separation and it's fully vested at that point. Just food for thought for those leaving 12/11
I've been with Coram for ten years. I have applied for 30+ jobs and have had a a total of three recruiters reach out to me. One resulted in an interview and a job offer that was ten thousand less than my current salary. I have taken a job with another company and plan on giving zero notice as I don't want to be let go prior to starting my new job. Upper management is getting really nervous as they didn't expect so many people to quit. To all of the employees keeping their jobs WAKE-UP you are just cleaning up the mess and then you will be let go or the the remaining pieces will be sold to another company.
This makes the 100th post, go somewhere you are appreciated, keep applying and don’t take no for answer. Trust God will not just open the door for you but will bust it down like wide open. He has done it for me and pray and believe and receive that that he will do the same for you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." -Joshua 1:9
Anyone know how long it's taking to get any information on your severance? I have people who got laid off 6/30 and are berly gonna be getting their severance 7/31...
CVS specialty - ppl got laid off last Wednesday. Their last day is in Aug. Seems to be going off Attendance/performance :/
CVS Specialty and Caremark are laying off as well.
Was just layed off from Cvs pbm side :( no reason was told but this is how it is. Was told more are coming.
I work for CVS Specialty and I just call on my last day of vacation and I am being laid off in 1 month. 3 year employee. Wow.
Our team had 35 people & only 2 were hired by CVSHealth, and wow shocker, those 2 people said they had close connections to a couple people who were on the hiring "team" for those jobs and could help get them hired. It figures. It's who you knew and what a$$es you kissed, and not that you have all the qualifications and great employee portfolios.
I keep in contact with all team members & friends I made at Coram. They were all laid off, too, just like me. They all applied for multiple jobs at CVS Health. So did I. All of us, every one of us, have been turned down for jobs, even if we had the job requirements & skills. Also, we all experienced being rejected really quick. The applications were turned down within a few hours after applying, so it appears they didn't even review our app's. They see CORAM and stamp the application REJECTED.
I am in vacation with VTO and I’m just now getting the call as to my pay my original date is within 30 days I did ask why don’t they just move us to core and she had no answer other then PSR their eliminating but I will be a rehire if I choose to apply within the company I’m saddened as to they called me while in vacation 2nd why not be honest
I am losing my job, and have not applied for jobs within CVS. But, in response to the text to start a chart, I do not have an employee that DID get hired within.
Applied, got rejected. Same with three other people I know, They are not moving Coram people to CVS. Apply elsewhere, cut your losses, move on.
Is that true that no one from Coram has been hired by CVS??
Please respond to this post if you applied to CVS 1) but we’re rejected 2) got hired by CVS
Let’s get some statistics here!
No one at Coram is getting hired at CVS so no worries there
Thank you for answering my question. (:
"Yes, as long as the job is at another company. If you get another job at Coram (what's left of it) or CVS Health, your severance stops. HR confirmed that."
To the person who asked:
"If we find another job are we sill gonna get able to get a severance package???"
Yes, as long as the job is at another company. If you get another job at Coram (what's left of it) or CVS Health, your severance stops. HR confirmed that.
If we find another job are we sill gonna get able to get a severance package???
Anyone know when we can sell our stock from the employee purchase plan? Maybe we can all do it in one day to send a very tiny message.
Everyone I know who has applied at CVS, using the special talent aquisition program for Coram employees, have received a thank you for applying, but another candidate was chosen email . CVS has no desire to hire Coram people. CVS wants to get rid of Coram, not bring their people over to CVS. Was thinking it would have been nice to get a thank you for your many years of service, as part of the lay off call, but they literally didn't even say thank you. I'm hearing they're selling Coram and it will happen fairly fast after wave one of us are gone. The ones left behind need to prepare now. It's coming.
My last day will be in a few days. The time has gone fast, since we were all told in a phone conference that we were layed off.
To the people who were chosen to stay: the next rounds of layoffs are just around the corner, and that's not a guess, that's from very reliable supvs, mgrs, & senior employees who all know someone who just can't stay quiet. Why do you think they're purging so many patients and branches?? With so little work to do now, you're not wondering what you're going to do since you've chosen to stay? BECAUSE YOU'RE CLEANING UP THE MESS BEFORE THE WHOLE THING GOES UNDER, and regardless of what anyone says, CVS Health will transfer & promote within CVS Health, FIRST, before they take on anyone from Coram. So to the HR people who were supposed to help us get jobs at CVS Health, but we're all being turned down for those jobs one-by-one, it's because CVS Health takes care of their own first before taking on anyone from Coram. Find a job at an outside company!! Why work for a company that has just layed you off without any warning after you've busted your a$$ to get where you are?
Trash company. Total trash. Trash reputation, trash leadership.
I am still so angry with CVS for wasting my time with Coram as they must have been planning this for a while. Corporate Greed won over patient care. Now they are whittling away our patient load so that we can not stay and receive our severance package. Just despicable on all levels.
I currently work for Coram but not at any branches. I have yet to hear if we are staying or being let go.
Rumor is recruiters are going to call us to offer positions, if you don't accept it your severance is gone. .
Very disgusted with this company. Wasted over 10 years and they are not helping you to find a different position with in the company.
Jacksonville FL has several opportunities for various positions for an infusion pharmacy. Check with Bluebird pharmacy for referrals.
It is Vital that you are Care(d) for and can find employment where you will be respected and appreciated. Many of your senior leadership team have shared our job posts on social media. We are looking for great talent for our pharmacy suites and remote billing positions in markets all over the country. And we are growing, not shrinking. Sorry for the lame clues. Wish I could make it easier for you to find us as you have been through enough. Sad!
I left Coram 3+ years ago to pursue expanded career interests (CVS doesn't like well-rounded, intelligent humans) and it was the best move I have ever made professionally. Those that stayed and continued to ruin a good thing (management) I don't wish anything good for them. They squandered their chances and now it's time to pay the piper. Self-preservation is what managers at Coram taught and it's good to finally see that self-preservation disappear.
