I have heard murmurs about layoffs coming and it could be a large group from sales, merchandising and even marketing. Anyone have any insight to these reports???

Layoffs happen a lot at Staples. You just never know when it will happen and to who. If you send an email to a co-worker and it comes back undeliverable….then you will know to cross off that employee from your list. And for some reason it happens to the good reliable workers that have given their all to this company.
Stalking??! When someone in your network likes a post, it shows up in your feed. Do you even know how LinkedIn works?
Maybe the person simply follows Staples on LinkedIn...again it's hard not to look at a train wreck

Judging from the 3 "I'm leaving" annnouncements I saw today on LinkedIn, I'm guessing something is happening. All 3 were long-tenured (18 years +) folks, so maybe there is a voluntary buyout going on.

You’re comping over Q1 of last year in the height of the pandemic where everyone was working from home and not buying hand sanitizer like it was going out of style. If you can’t destroy last years numbers you would REALLY be in bad shape.
