the cuts will be deep and fast, and spread over a period of 3-12 months. trust me... Hock doesn't waste time.
Except that if your offered a proper contract to stay, under his plan he will make you a shareholder too.
Under the CA 2018 Plan from Broadcom
Managers & Principal Engineers were given 600 shares
Sr. Engineers 450 shares
Of course these vest over 4 years with the last payout at 7 years and half are sold to pay taxes, but this is on top of an annual bonus that was paid out at 138% last year.
