The store manager is a nut case and doesn't like it when people drink coffee on the job. meanwhile i have no help and I'm completely exhausted and i came back from lunch with the dreaded coffee in my hand from good ole 3 bucks aka Starbucks. The store manager looked at me and said " ah drinking a coffee to get your energy up so you can open more cards " no im drinking coffee cause I'm about to pass out from pure exhaustion working to near death and being in a constant state of stress. Meanwhile my store manager sits in a air conditioned room doing nothing but reading emails all day and never leaves the office. I know some macys have 3 bucks inside them and i wonder how that works out with trying to stay awake during a shift with zero help

Your managers seems to be…unbalanced.
We never have enough workers, we’re tired, stressed out and the morale is bad. The stores still want to have an old style departmental layout that often have unattended registers. Will Macys ever modernize?
I'd have thought that was my SM except we don't have Starbucks.
I advice you to quit that job and find a good one where there will be nice manager who loves when people are working with pleasure
