My impression is that none of the people at the top here are worried anymore about how to make this a better place. Have they all given up on Macy’s and are now looking only at their personal, individual interests?
Does anyone think about the future of the company?
Most stores are awful, in very poor condition. Perhaps something could have been done to improve the situation, if only there was a little more will to do so.

What is this ISM everyone is mentioning? I haven’t heard anything about it in my store.
I watch the daily decline of a once clean organized store evolve into chaos. Nothing that is broken is being fixed. The carpets and floors are filthy . We are being shoplifted by every hoodlum because they know we won't confront them. Now they are screwing us over with this ISM cr-p. Most associates don't even want to do it. I don't even want to go to work anymore. Its just getting to the point where I don't even know who my boss is anymore or what tv my job is oh yeah thats right its EVERYTHING. Why don't they just hand me a toilet brush and I can clean those too.
Please sir, may I have a bonus?
They don’t care as long as they are making money and the executives are lining their pockets. Finding ways to cut money in the budget for stores so they can divert that money to their bonuses.
