It is very difficult for me to make a decision to leave this place. I hear from other people that they finally got some relief when they left and that they are now not only paid more, but also under less stress than they were here.
Considering that people often exaggerate, is it really that it is much better elsewhere than it is here?

I worked there for 4 years and loved my time in Columbus, but the company culture isn't what made me enjoy it. It was the friends I worked with, the community events like the Mill Race marathon or BBQ fest, and short commutes lol. If I were to ever move back to the area, it wouldn't be for Cummins
I decided to stage my house to sell a week before I got laid off. The call I made to the realtor after I'd given everyone in the room who laid me off the flu was the happiest call I'd ever made. Dumped Columbus, made 13k on the house I had for 3 years, and GTFO'd back to Northern MN. I have a great job, a partner who cares about me, the outdoors and lakes that aren't all fu----g gated communities. I have zero love for living in Southern IN, don't be scared to venture into the unknown.
Ain't that the truth, the devil is working overtime in Columbus IN in regards to Cummins. Their problem is their culture period. The culture of protecting their nest so to speak and their ranking structure which makes it a freaking nightmare to be in the place without looking over your back.
NO! Thank God I left and don’t wanna come back back! They could offer 25 an hour and I still wouldn’t accept another position. The devil is working overtime out there in Columbus Indiana and I enjoy my peace of mind :)
I worked there for 7 years, I was happy because I did not know what was out there.
Life is easy on the other side :)
It is like Darlington DEP is turning into Amazon.AWS you are watched all the time.
