I was awarded some RSUs that vested last month. Does it makes sense to sell them now or wait for the acquisition to complete?

Those that think the deal is 100% complete are clueless. Anything Is possible
Those that want to wait for the deal to close to get their $104/share so they can get an extra $22.48 after taxes is just as much a fool. Sell your shares and move forward
Anyone who thinks the deal won't close because of interest rates (not material to the agreement) or because someone might want to pay more (too late for that) is just sour grapes.
There might be other bidders like Elon Musk. Wrike + Twitter would be amazing.
Deal may not close due to rising interest rates.
There's little to no chance that the acquisition won't get approved. Well under 1%, which is why the stock is selling 1-2% below the buyout price. There's zero market overlap with Tibco, so there are no concerns there. The usual bleating about shareholder lawsuits won't go anywhere, since they extremely rarely ever do.
My advice - hold onto shares until the close, when you get the full $104.00 and zero selling costs (if you still have a brokerage account that charges commissions).
Deal is not done until the fat lady sings or DK cashes out her PRSUs. Nothing is definite until it is
What judge is going to block the sale? For what reason?
Should sell now before the judge blocks the sale.
The stocks hovers on the 100-102.5. Depending on how many you have, may not be worth the wait. If for example you have less than 100 stocks, then the difference is pretty small between $102 and $104. That would be $100-$200. But if you are in the 1000+ stocks mark then those $2 would be significant.
Personally I was in the low side, with like 75 stocks so I sold them early April for like $102.5 each. Not waiting only cost me about $100. Since there is always a change this deal could failed (unlikely but still a chance) I preferred to take my money out. If I had more stocks, I would probably hold off to get max payout of $104.
There is a 50/50 chance the deal could close.
Wait and they will convert to cash automatically at the highest price ($104). The share price won’t reach that number ahead of the final sale date.
I am waiting for the acquisition to close. They will buy them back at $104 per share. If you sell now, you will get what they are going for in the market, which is less than $104.
