Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Everything, and I mean everything, from top to bottom at VMware is awful

I left six months ago and I still have PTSD from working there. I'm not even exaggerating, I was bullied both by my boss and some of my coworkers and HR did exactly nothing to help me. I couldn't be happier than I am for finally getting the courage and will to leave.

The only, and I mean only, consolation of Raghu being CEO is that they didn't choose the other guy.

Who would think that hiring bad managers and low quality workers for a decade would signal a down turn in all the attributes that made vmware great.

Good for you! Left that awful place some 4 years ago and never looked back. I admit I learned quite a lot from that place but at the expense of work-life balance. There’s no let up on the cases you worked on, it’s a sweatshop. It’s a crab mentality sweatshop.
