My question is, where do they plan to get the $1.3B to pay off the shareholders? It does seem like they want to stock price to keep going lower so they don't have to pay much out to the shareholders. How else do you explain a stock price that hit $6.01 yesterday and lack of any major layoffs before the ER next week?

Why do some question Carlyle’s access to cash. They have plenty. Have you actually taking time to search their list of investors.
Until you do, don’t act like they are broke. They are not going to do it at $6 or $8 per share. It will be more $12 give or take a little.

I think that’s is exactly what is going to happen. However there’s a huge exit fee associated in doing that. Does Carlyle have that kind of cash to pay out?
We see evidence of job/equipment/roles being moved off shore. Sad.
Not saying you are wrong but was is the benefit?
