Just in case you have been sleeping under a rock, globalism is dead! Since we don’t understand this, yes there will be layoffs because we still believe that hiring cheap labor in foreign countries is the right direction. This will hurt us in the end, but not much us peasants can do.
Just look at Pettus in Manila. Going to hire there because they won’t compete here.

Yes with inflation hitting prices going sky high on building supplies and the China and Russia nonsense going on with covid still a issue people are going to stop spending and building unless it's a have to case, so orders will slow down and markets will get lean.
Yes, with market trends and supply chain issues that will soon get worse with China, I don’t think they will have any other choice than to make cuts.
