The vote is open. It is a hard choice between HA, SM, and NC. But HA gets my top vote since R&D is so messed up and we have ZERO innovation. She has no engineering experience and no track record of innovation. Not sure how she even got the job so maybe SM is to blame. She could barely do Product Management. "Sell What's On The Truck!" Add that she is so toxic and political many are leaving because of her. Top Cloud Engineer just left because of her. She can now add "Worst TDC ELT Member" to her LinkedIn Profile.

SM, HA, and KC are all tied for worst. This is by far the weakest ELT we have ever had. What is wrong with our Board of Directors? In fairness to them I guess no proven, experienced CEO or engineering executive would touch TDC with a 10 ft. pole. So we get stuck with inexperienced and unproven leaders.
SB isn’t even an employee and is about 30 years past his “use by” date.
What about the burning man CTO guy. Does he even do anything??
@1cfz If you want to get this thread deleted, go ahead. Mods tolerate naming people from the C-suite, from what I can see, but they nuke all the posts naming people below them (and I think that's a good thing, by the way).
How about just listing the worst PEOPLE in general we all have to work with? There are plenty and not just the ELT that needs to go or creates our horrible environment.

SM – Weak first-time CEO, poor leader, cliché laden, bad recruiting record who is being found out.
HA – $1B+ spent on R&D and still no cloud product. She spends too much of her time backstabbing rather than delivering products.
NC - $30+M spent on MK and with no meaningful strategy. Everyone thinks he is a joke.
KCC – Attrition is through the roof, morale at its lowest but is too busy with virtual signaling and pandering to social causes to care.

TC - Out of his depth, a weak leader who fears NC and HA and has no strong relationships with customers. Despite spending tens of millions with MK, he has not stopped or slowed down churn. No meaningful new logos, no sales strategy, no partner strategy, with a disproportionate sales talent attrition.
CB, MH, JW – We will give them a grace period, but none are looking strong.
MT – Probably the only ELT person who knows their stuff and delivers.
Can you hint on who the top cloud engineer is? I don’t think the name mentioned is an engineer.
I think ELT’s bad execution is to blame for the current mess. Being heard is not sufficient but the key is to act on what they’ve heard from multiple engineers from wide spectrum about key toxic people and processes. Unless something is done about them, we will continue to suffer. If you change nothing, then nothing will change.
FQ is sad and misses Teradata because Snowflake doesn’t have yammer or allow him to complain
FQ? Unless this is actually FQ, then this is inaccurate based on personal discussions I had with him.
More broadly, there is huge opportunity for Teradata, but to state that HA must personally come up with our Innovation only perpetuates mistakes of TD's past which led to its current market position. IMHO, ELT should ensure that the right people culture and market belief exists - that will allow us to create the innovation we want, need, and are capable of. This is what I expect of them, and as a member of Engineering, this is what I feel like I am finally getting. Sure, I may not want 3 hour meetings, but I am happy to attend them if it means I am finally listened to and have a real opportunity to build a great service.
Whatever happiness you get from belittling our ELT, I hope you are using it for good somewhere else, because beyond your own satisfaction your message serves only to hurt Tetadata. Thank you for listening.
