Once the recession hits and it will, there will be tough times ahead. It will be swift and sudden and very bad lasting about a year. Then with time the market will level out and climb back up. Companies will hire again to accommodate growth.

There are no layoffs with severance packages anymore. It’s cheaper to “manage” you in such a way that you choose to leave on your own.
Good, I hope there is a recession, and I wouldn't mind getting laid off for a year or so. I could use the time off, but am too addicted to the payout to quit on my own

We're still in a pandemic. I can't think about a recession, but you're right. Not good. RTO concerns should be the last on folks' minds.
