Values that once mattered

Values that once mattered here no longer exist. Unfortunately. Integrity, honesty, innovation, self-improvement... That is no longer here. It's time to get out of here. Now that I am leaving I'm trying to think about what are the factors that caused these values to disappear?

Don't worry Nick will lay off the entire IT Department and outsource it next he already cut 200 employees more to come he is not done yet. All them six figure jobs going bye bye up next will be low paid outsourced IT Deparment. I'd bet on this if I could to win a few bucks.

I totally disagree. Frontier is the best now it has been in more than ten years, performance is improving everywhere. We have to move on from the old ways and this team is delivering. If you are stuck in the past it is better to move on....

I totally disagree. Frontier is the best now it has been in more than ten years, performance is improving everywhere. We have to move on from the old ways and this team is delivering. If you are stuck in the past it is better to move on....

I retired in feb 2020. When I hired on in 1995 with GTE the techs that were there actually took pride in the work they did. I can pinpoint the bad hires that actually divided the work group and manipulated the boss. Quality and service suffered badly and the plant went downhill quickly. Shame!

I couldn't agree more. I am ashamed to be part of Frontier! Unfortunately we have gone from the Bell standard to a deregulated company of hacks.

Corporate greed, management that is only concerned with looking good for (or staying in the good graces of) the management above them, and a company that cares more about optics than actual customer service or real performance.

We seem to be terrified of our board and will do anything to APPEAR that we are doing a good job. From here at ground level, we all can say things look completely different from what's being reported to those in the Ivory Tower.
