I’m not gonna say how long I’ve actually been there but it’s been well over 10 years. I’m officially on to better, more pay better flexibility, no weekends, no nights, no holidays and very similar employment!
The moment I gave my notice which was a three week notice I basically got blackballed they don’t include me in emails, I’m not included in any more meetings, I can’t get managers from upper region to respond back to me- NOTHING!!!!!
Lol, they’re mad that we better ourselves!
Our store is extremely understaffed, our GM is running the store into the ground, we have many people leaving weekly!!!
Hiring takes FOREVER! They want you to take on the position of 3 other people so they don’t have to hire more.
Bass pro used to be an experience and it is no longer that, you’re looking at the new Walmart!!!!!!
Johnny let way too many wrong people get involved
Get out as soon as you can!!!! They 100% do not care about you!!!!! You’re a # to them

I bailed out just before Bass Pro took over Cabela's 5 years ago. Best decision I've made.
Been at the local Kroger for 5 years. I'm making more than twice the pay and their insurance is the best I ever had for half the price.
Because I was still an employee, still getting paid to do my job. I still have others to take care of and things to be apart of. I would have taken my pay without staying, no problem.
I hope the others can get out of the sh-t show sooner! It takes years off your life that’s for sure! You don’t even know it until you’re out of there.
Actually they simply should have paid you the two weeks and let you leave. Why would or should they include you in meetings for example? You are leaving what on earth would be the point?
Good luck brother
