Probably shouldn’t have cut off all the van drivers. Self made disaster by incompetent leadership

They're to busy docking while Kenny faps to be helpful
I didn’t have a ride to work, so I had to call Happy Cab. Thanks UP.
The problem is UP even got rid of a lot of the contracted employees that drove the vans. Forget about the clerks. UP was getting too cheap to pay someone $8 to drive a van and cut back a lot of regularly staffed shifts thinking the managers could do a lot more of the transportation. Now they’re begging for volunteers.
They’re trying to get Uber and lift to haul crewmembers around. Maybe Lance will take you for a ride on the corporate jet to get to where you’re going.
Lance and Vena will pick you up in their clown car
To bring this back to layoffs it’s cheaper to pay a contractor who pays non union wages to transport employees. UP also transfers financial liability if Jitney Drivet Bessy falls asleep and hits another UP vehicle with employees in both vehicles
The HR lady will probably give you a more intelligent conversation than a summary of her last altercation at Walmart, how she’s cut back to two packs of “Newport‘s” per day and how hard it is to stay awake after eating potato chip chips and trying to figure out where her man was all last night.
I’m sure some random HR lady from Omaha working as a volunteer rail relief driver will do much better. I feel safer already
The Car4 /Clerk/Jitney drivers have been cut back at UP because statistically speaking they have a high personal injury rate and are quick to file frivolous labor claims. As a retired manager it’s a documented fact that they have more accidents then the Maintenance of Way employees and my trainman who work hours in the blazing sun dealing with snakes, stinging insects, and homeless individuals.
Lol looks like somebody is butthurt! It’s a layoff site that’s why we’re talking about consequences of layoffs and bad leadership
Genius question! You must have been the smartest in your class. Why even post stupidity like this. There have already been several posts on this subject. Move on to something else that’s actually important to the workforce instead of regurgitating the same stuff.
