There's no need for layoffs everybody's just freaking leaving!! your underpaid your overworked and a mishap of communication is everywhere oh yeah did I forget. As I was told when I first got here do your first year and get the he-l out because this place is a hot mess! Yes the benefits of goods but it's not worth the headache! It is just non-stop drama and the reason that a number of these contracts that units get they keep getting dropped it simply they don't have the tools to do the job and they will throw their people under the bus for whatever reason man I'm so glad I don't work there anymore period. It was the worst job experience I have ever had in life if they offered me a million dollars to come back never in this lifetime and hereafter that's how I feel about them because they truly don't care about their associates not one bit...

the company is going downhill since they were removed from the Dow Jones S&P 500 in 2008. They tried to land a few big contracts - 7-1, HPE and sold their money making federal system business, and hoped to turn the business around. Now they will be kicked out the small-cap S&P 600 index soon. Their stock has lost more than 80% as revenue has fallen and profits have dropped sharply.
I agree with what you said. They get you on a MS Teams call and they say a workforce reduction and do not tell you much when getting rid of you. Keep in mind I had managers tell me one thing on a conference call and then on a call 5 minutes later the bosses we were working for would tell me something different. Not an honest group.
Good benefits? They had some of the worst benefits out of all the places I've worked. Medicore at best.
The company as a whole is stuck in a 90s mentality. It was very apparent after my first week there. They always point the finger and shift blame, but never ask for advice on how to approve. Even calling employees "associates" has a demeaning connotation. With the workforce changing so much, I have a feeling they'll be left out to dry in the next 3-5 years. And they will have no one left to blame but themselves.
I hear you nothing but stress stress stress and more stress!
